My name is Iffaf and I live in London (UK). I teach English online with Languagelab.com.

I have been teaching English for 24 years. I am also an IELTS examiner.

• 24 years teaching experience, including English Literature, General English, English with ICT and IELTS exam preparation
• Working with University of Essex on the delivery of Academic English and Teacher Training
• Researching theories on reducing the cognitive load of learner and form-focused instruction

About me

I have taught in many schools around the world. I’ve taught in Thailand and Pakistan and many other places, including Hong Kong. I love teaching!

At the moment I’m working on Academic English and and exam preparation. I teach online in Languagelab’s virtual English City. It’s different to teaching in a classroom, but very exciting.

My recommendations

I would like to recommend Languagelab’s General English course. It will help you to become an independent learner and English speaker. As an IELTS examiner, I believe this is very important.
