This event helps you improve your English Speaking, English Listening, English Pronunciation and English Fluency. - What is a soapbox? In London you can go to Hyde park and see people standing on a box that had once been used to ship soap. They give their opinions and speak passionately about something they care about. The popular term relates to someone being on his soapbox, meaning that they are expressing their opinions openly. Come stand on your soapbox or listen to others stand on theirs. Soapbox speeches are limited to 3 minutes. This is an excellent exercise for listening and speaking.
