After a period as a freelance professional essayist and tutor, he currently works as a Web Developer with the team at Languagelab.com, specialising in Python, UNIX tools, SQL DBA, Scheme, functional programming, and various web technologies. |

| Bio: | Laura Jeffcoat (known as Lowri Mills “in world”) holds a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Theatre, a Master’s in Psychology and is currently working on a degree in Digital Imaging and Design. She worked professionally in over 96 theatre productions and several movies. After being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis she became severely disabled, losing most of her vision and her ability to walk. While homebound, she went to school online and took one of the first college classes in Second Life. She applies the skills she learned there to welcoming new students to Languagelab and managing our teachers. |

| Bio: | Lynn has more than 20 years of experience in communications. She began her career as a journalist and then transitioned to marketing and public relations. She has a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature from Gettysburg College and a Master’s degree specialising in Science and Technical Communication from Drexel University, where she has taught Technical Communication as an adjunct professor. Lynn worked and lived in Paris for five years, becoming fluent in French and teaching English privately. She keeps up with the world of language learning by occasionally teaching ESL classes at International House in Philadelphia. |
